This small-group American Mahjong workshop is for players who have taken an introductory lesson or played a few times but do not yet feel comfortable playing independently.
Many players reach a stage where they recognize the tiles and understand the basic flow of the game but still want guidance with choosing hands, navigating the Charleston, and making early calling decisions.
The Building Confidence Workshop focuses on narrowing realistic hand options from your initial deal, understanding why certain Charleston decisions matter, developing early calling and tile management strategies, and playing with guided support at real tables in a low pressure setting.
This is not a beginner introduction and it is not advanced competitive play. It is designed to bridge the gap between learning the basics and feeling ready to play socially with confidence.
Light refreshments will be provided. Space is intentionally limited to keep the workshop hands on and personal.
