Bethesda Resident Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Child In DC: Police

D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department arrested a Bethesda resident last Thursday on charges of sexual abuse of a child, police said.

BETHESDA, MD — The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. arrested a Bethesda resident last Thursday on charges of sexual abuse of a child.

Davon Dates-Johnson, 27, was charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse of a child or minor, according to the MPD.

The MPD’s Youth and Family Services Division, Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch said the sexual abuse occurred on April 6 in the 3500 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.

At about 8 a.m. last Thursday, the suspect “engaged in sexually suggestive conduct and unwanted sexual contact with the minor victim,” the MPD said.
