Chip City Cookies Shop Coming To Bethesda This Summer: Report
Chip City Cookies plans to open a Bethesda shop as part of its expansion beyond the New York and New Jersey markets, Robert Dyer reported.
BETHESDA, MD — Chip City Cookies plans to open a new shop in Bethesda as part of its expansion beyond the New York and New Jersey markets, according to a report.
The new cookie shop will be located at 4939 Elm Street, in the Shoppes of Bethesda, in a space previously occupied by Fancy Cakes by Leslie, Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Wednesday.
Chip City Cookies is expected to open in Bethesda by this summer, according to Robert Dyer.

Weighing in at 5.25 ounces each, Chip City cookies are known for being some of the largest cookies. Chip City rotates more than 40 flavors over the course of a year. Every day, four different flavors are featured in its stores.
Chip City also offers a plant-based chocolate chip cookie, made with 100-percent vegan ingredients.

"Born in Astoria, Queens in July 2017, Chip City began as a hobby between two childhood friends as they sought to recreate the simple taste of their childhood," the company's website says. "What began as a fun challenge to see who could create the best cookie turned into the Chip City we know and love today."
Chip City currently has 12 locations in New York City, two locations on Long Island and one location in New Jersey.
