County Fair, Free Concert, Houses for Sale

Here are five things to know in Bethesda and Chevy Chase on Thursday, Aug. 8:
1.) Temperatures will be in the upper-80s, with scattered temperatures and a 40 percent chance of rain, according to The Weather Channel.
2.) The 65th Montgomery County Agricultural Fair opens this Friday at 3 p.m. in Gaithersburg. Read more on Patch.
3.) Take in a free concert in downtown Bethesda. Free concerts are held on summer Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. in Veteran's Park, at the corner of Woodmont and Norfolk avenues.
