Delivery Person Charged With Sexually Assaulting Elderly Woman: Police
A 65-year-old Bethesda man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of an elderly woman, police said Friday.

BETHESDA, MD — A 65-year-old Bethesda man has been arrested in connection with sexual assaulting an elderly woman in Bethesda, Montgomery County police said Friday.
On Jan. 10, police responded to a residence on East-West Highway in Bethesda for the report of a sexual assault that had occurred earlier. The complainant reported to police that the elderly victim had been assaulted by the suspect, later identified as Yuriy Ravdugin, according to police.
Ravdugin, a pharmacy delivery person, is accused of entering the woman's home and forcibly touching her, police said.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigations Division were able to identify Ravdugin as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant on Tuesday. He was arrested in Takoma Park on Wednesday while making deliveries, police said.
Ravdugin faces charges of second-degree assault and sexual offenses. He is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he awaits a bond hearing, according to police.
