District Falafel Getting Ready To Open At Bethesda's Westlake Crossing

BETHESDA, MD — The interior of District Falafel at the Westlake Crossing shopping center in Bethesda, appears completely finished, which means the restaurant is likely nearing its grand opening.

Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported on the status of the buildout of District Falafel on Thursday and included lots of photos, including a glimpse of the menu.

District Falafel started in 2015 as a food truck serving the D.C. area. The new location in Bethesda will be at the Westlake Crossing shopping center at 10315 Westlake Drive, next to Westfield Montgomery Mall.

Known for its falafel, hummus and gyros, District Falafel will be located in the space formerly home to The Wok Chinese Kitchen.

"We believe falafel should contain fresh ingredients and bold flavor worth celebrating," District Falafel says on its website.
