Drug Disposal Boxes Now Available 24/7 At 6 MoCo Police Stations

BETHESDA, MD — It's now easier than ever to safely and discreetly get rid of leftover, unwanted, and expired prescription drugs in Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Police Department announced that it has set up prescription drug disposal boxes in all six district station lobbies for residents' use. These boxes can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Drugs can be dropped off with no questions asked.

Due to COVID-19, residents are asked to wear face coverings and practice social distancing while inside the police station.

The six district stations are located in Rockville (1st District), Bethesda (2nd District), Silver Spring (3rd District), Wheaton (4th District), Germantown (5th District), and Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village (6th District).
