Elderly Woman Missing From Bethesda
Miriam Buttrick Sumberg, 94, suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia.

Police are asking for the community's help in locating a missing 94-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.
Miriam Buttrick Sumberg, of the 5800 block of Wilmett Road in Bethesda, was last seen Thursday around 6:30p.m. when she was involved in a property damage collision on the Capital Beltway and River Road. She exchanged information with the driver of the other vehicle, but hasn't been heard from since.
Police are describing Sumberg as a white female, five feet, two inches tall and 150 pounds, with gray hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a beige, long sleeved blouse and a brown skirt. Sumberg takes medication for dementia and is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease.

She drives a two-door 1989 silver Nissan Sentra with Maryland tags PBT961. Montgomery County Police have activated the silver alert through the Maryland State Police.
Police are asking anyone who has information about Sumberg’s whereabouts or who sees her car to call the Second District Investigative Section at 301-657-0145 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
