Electric Vehicle Charging Station To Debut On Bethesda Row

Federal Realty is installing the stations at their East Coast properties, the Gazette reports.

Electric vehicles owners, rejoice!

Another electric vehicle charging station is set to debut in Bethesda, this time on Bethesda Row at 4950 Elm Street, The Gazette reported this week.

Bethesda Row management company is working with the Miami-based Car Charging Group to install electric car charging stations at its East Coast properties, according to the report -- including at Bethesda Row and Rockville Town Square.

The charging station will join a station at the SunTrust bank at 10401 Old Georgetown Road, which was

“These types of charging stations are really essential to the future of electric vehicles,” Dave Goldstein, president of the Electric Vehicle Association of Greater Washington, D.C., told The Gazette, comparing the charging stations to "watering holes in the desert."
