Foxtrot Café And Market At Bethesda Row To Celebrate Grand Opening

BETHESDA, MD — Foxtrot, a café and market, will be opening on Nov. 18 at Bethesda Row, its fifth location in the Washington, D.C., area, the company said Thursday.

Foxtrot’s café will offer coffees, seasonal drinks, fresh smoothies, breakfast tacos, chef-prepared salads and bowls, and grab-and-go meals for lunch and dinner.

The market will sell everyday essentials, plus local craft beers and wines hand-selected by an in-house sommelier. The public can eat and drink inside the store, order for pickup, or order on-demand delivery through Foxtrot’s proprietary app.

Foxtrot’s hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The public will get to celebrate the Bethesda Row location’s grand opening on Friday, Nov. 18, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with live music, food and drinks. Customers who download and use the Foxtrot app during the café and market’s opening week will receive a gift while supplies last.

Foxtrot’s new Bethesda café and market joins its four other D.C. area locations: Dupont Circle at 1601 Connecticut Ave., NW in D.C.; Mount Vernon Triangle at 650 Massachusetts Ave., NW in D.C.; Georgetown at 1267 Wisconsin Ave., NW in D.C.; and Old Town Alexandria at 701 King Street.

Foxtrot has a total of 22 locations in the D.C., Chicago and Dallas areas, with plans to continue expanding in both existing and new markets.

The new Bethesda Row location, at 7262 Woodmont Ave., features a large outdoor patio where guests can eat or drink. The café comes with an oak bar and a variety of other indoor seating options in the main dining area.

Renovation plans for the 4,000-square-foot space, previously occupied by Mussel Bar & Grille, were conducted by Foxtrot’s in-house design team in partnership with interior design Studio Saint.

Foxtrot currently carries more than 150 local products from over 50 local makers, including Ceremony Coffee Beans, Dolcezza Gelato, Cookie by Drew, Manor Hill and Little Sesame hummus.

The store said it is committed to showcasing up-and-coming brands and small businesses through its Up & Comers awards, an annual program designed to acknowledge local small businesses. Local businesses interested in being featured on Foxtrot’s shelves can submit their products at https://foxtrotco.com/contact.

Foxtrot recently introduced a Membership loyalty program that gives customers access to exclusive benefits by using the Foxtrot app. Users become eligible for Membership by placing an order on the app for delivery or pickup.
