Gastropub to Take Over Gaffney's Space

Gaffney's, a long-time Bethesda restaurant located on Wisconsin Avenue next to the Montgomery Farm Women's Cooperative Market, has closed, Bethesda Magazine's Table Talk blog reports.

The Majestic Bar & Grill, a gastropub, is expected to take over the space. Signage on the exterior of the former Gaffney's space announces the opening, along with a website, Table Talk reports.

Table Talk also reports that the former Asian Café at 4858 Cordell Avenue will be transformed into a barbeque restaurant, expected to open in March.
