Get Out: Art Walk, Music and Shelter Dogs

Ahhh, the holiday season is here.

While many of you may spend the weekend , shopping for presents or booking your New Year's Eve plans, there's still a ton to do and see right here in Bethesda.

Why Go: Learn about the art right in downtown Bethesda and explore galleries showcase work from local and international artists.

When: Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Head back into time with this classic musical lead by local high school talent.

When: Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10 and 11, 8 a.m.

Where: , 14645 Rothgeb Drive in Rockville.

Why Go: Even shelter dogs like presents! Volunteers will be handing out gifts to the dogs. The shelter is looking for donations of bones, not rawhide, toys and blankets.

When: Sunday, Dec. 11, 3 p.m.

Where: , 8011 Old Georgetown Road

Why Go: Enjoy the sounds of a local choir and get in the mood for the holidays with their winter concert.
