Why Go: Who doesn’t love a great deal on a great meal? Three-course lunches are $15 and three-course dinners are $30 at participating Bethesda Row restaurants during Bethesda Row Spring Restaurant Week.

Pricing: $15 for lunch and $30 for dinner, not including gratuity

Why Go:  Discard important documents safely and have some fun at the same time – appearances by radio personalities from 105.9 FM and 107.3 FM and a cameo by Red Hook Lobster Pound’s famous Lobster Truck are planned. The first 100 people to show up will receive a free lobster roll.

Where/When: 11a.m. to 3p.m. April 16 at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase YMCA

Why Go: Part of a national initiative by the YMCA to promote health and wellness for kids and families, the event will feature games and an obstacle course, pony rides, tennis, fingerprinting, cooking demos, gymnastics and martial arts demonstrations, a clown and face painting, youth nutrition info from Suburban Hospital, and more.

Where/When: April 17 at Howard Avenue and Fawcett Street in Kensington

Why Go: Celebrate Old Town Kensington’s yearly event with family and friends. The street festival aimed to celebrate literature will feature live music, book readings, and activities for children and adults. Buy books and chat with local authors, publishers, literary groups and booksellers along Howard Avenue.
