NORTH BETHESDA, MD — Real estate developer LCOR on Monday celebrated the groundbreaking of Envoi, a 354-unit, high-rise rental community as part of a joint development agreement with Metro within The Quad in North Bethesda.

Formally referred to as Parcel H, Envoi will be the fourth and final residential development in the North Bethesda Master Plan, joining the Arrowood, Aurora and Wentworth residences. Once completed, there will be more than 1,300 LCOR-operated units within The Quad.

“The accessibility, green space and sense of community at The Quad have created an ideal place for North Bethesda residents to live,” Taylor Golub, development manager at LCOR, said in a statement. “The building differentiates itself from the existing rental market with its extensive amenity suite, modern unit finishes, and a dynamic outdoor space for all ages.”

The Quad offers residents access to the Pike District, including shopping, dining, entertainment and the arts. Envoi sits adjacent to the North Bethesda Metro Station. Nearby grocers include Harris Teeter, Whole Foods and Wegmans.

The name Envoi, defined as a closing statement in a poem or book, captures the completion of the last piece of the four-building residential community situated around a central green space, The Quad, LCOR said. The 12-story building will consist of both market-rate and affordable unit options with a mix of one- and two-bedrooms, standard one- and two-bedrooms, three-bedrooms and penthouses.

Residents will have access to more than 16,000 square feet of amenities, including a fitness center, outdoor pool, open-air courtyard with grilling stations, fire pits and games, resident lounge with coworking capabilities, designated meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor children’s play areas, dog park and a penthouse lounge with gaming areas and a golf simulator.

Envoi is slated to open its doors to residents early summer 2026.
