Iconic Pizzeria Celebrates 100th Anniversary With Special
Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is celebrating its 100th year through the end of June with a special promotion at its lone MD restaurant.
BETHESDA, MD — Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in Westfield Montgomery Mall, the famed New Haven-based pizzeria known for its coal-fired pies, is celebrating its 100th year in business with a delicious promotion.
The Bethesda location is the only Frank Pepe's in Maryland, opening in the spring of 2022. The Westfield Montgomery Mall location is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Throughout June, guests who dine in at any Frank Pepe’s location can enjoy a large, family-sized 18-inch cheese pizza (16 slices) for $19.25 — commemorating the founding of Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in 1925.

The offer is available exclusively for dine-in guests from Monday through Friday until June 30. The offer is limited to one redemption per table and cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.

The History Of Frank Pepe's
“Our grandfather founded Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in Connecticut in 1925, fueled by his passion for great food, tradition and community,” said Jennifer Bimonte-Kelly, granddaughter of Frank Pepe, who immigrated to the United States from Italy as a teenager in 1909. “Over the last century, Frank Pepe’s has served generations of families and grown into a beloved pizzeria with 17 locations along the eastern United States — a testament to the legacy our grandfather and grandmother, Filomena, built together.”
Frank Pepe’s has become a cornerstone of American pizza culture, helping to spur the rising popularity of New Haven-style pizza across the United States, according to a news release. Since its
foundation, the family-run pizzeria has earned nine No. 1 rankings on The Daily Meal's Best Pizzas in America’s list.
In addition to its coal-fired pizzas, Frank Pepe also offers a variety of salads, desserts and Italian wines.
Frank Pepe’s operates 17 locations across Connecticut, South Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.
