Luxury Nail, Beauty Salon To Open Third D.C. Area Location In Chevy Chase
Luxury nail and beauty parlor nailsaloon will be opening its third D.C. area location at The Collection in Chevy Chase in early fall.

CHEVY CHASE, MD — Luxury nail and beauty parlor nailsaloon will be opening a new location at The Collection, a block-long outdoor shopping center that features retailers and restaurants in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
The business, founded by entrepreneur Andréa Vieira, is scheduled to open the new Chevy Chase salon early this fall. It will be nailsaloon’s third location in the D.C. area.
The Chevy Chase nailsaloon will have a modern design, with 2,128 square feet of space. The company is aiming to make the space feel more like a lounge than a traditional salon.

"We are delighted to bring the nailsaloon experience to the Chevy Chase community," Vieira said in a statement. "It’s so exciting for us to launch our third parlor here at The Collection — and for me, a special treat as it’s just up the street from Stone Ridge, where I graduated high school, a time when I was getting into manicures myself."
Nailsaloon’s other two locations are in Logan Circle in D.C. and Capitol Hill in D.C. Bookings can be made through nailsaloon’s website or by calling the salon directly.

When it opens this fall, the new Chevy Chase location will be at 5449 Wisconsin Avenue. It will be reachable by Metro and will have plenty of parking options. Nearby two-hour parking will be validated by the salon for all clients.
Inside the salon, 12 manicure and 12 pedicure stations will be unassigned to any specific team members. They will be assigned to clients upon bookings to accommodate groups who wish to sit and socialize together while they receive their treatments.

Every station will come equipped with high-tech source ventilation, ensuring that the air is completely scent-free, without the scent of acetone or nail polish.
“Our design anchors came from a desire to integrate a true hospitality experience alongside nail salon services,” said David Pilkenton, the salon’s architectural and interior designer and founder of Restaurant Design Company. "People want and need a space outside of their homes to reset, relax, and escape to be with themselves."
As part of her business philosophy, Vieira seeks to source colors from women-owned gel and non-gel polish lines, including D.C. area favorite Mischo Beauty by Kitiya Mischo King, which carries an award-winning line of vegan, cruelty-free, richly hued and high-performance nail lacquers.
As part of her work in the community, Vieira’s salons support the DC Coalition for the Homeless and the University of Maryland's Merrill College of Journalism. Vieira is a graduate of the Merrill College of Journalism. She pursued a career in communications before founding nailsaloon almost 10 years ago.
