Mario Lopez To Host Holiday Celebration At Westfield Montgomery

Actor and "Access Hollywood" host Mario Lopez is coming to Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda on Sunday to emcee a holiday celebration.

BETHESDA, MD — Actor and “Access Hollywood” host Mario Lopez is coming to Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda on Sunday to emcee a celebration to kick off the holiday season.

The Home for the Holidays event, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will begin with a string quartet and holiday themed covers by a tribute band, The Little Mermen. The Maryland Youth Ballet will perform pieces from the Nutcracker. And the Washington Nationals Racing Presidents will also be making an appearance at the celebration.

This event will celebrate the mall’s partnership with Children's National Medical Center. The public can donate funds, which go to cover the cost of activities for patients at the hospital. Westfield Montgomery will match donations during the holiday season up to $10,000.

By reserving a free spot for Sunday’s event, attendees will get a chance to win a meet and greet with Lopez, who starred in the 1990s teen sitcom "Saved by the Bell" and is also starring in a new holiday movie, “Steppin’ Into the Holiday,” which will air on Lifetime channel this holiday season.
