McLean Woman Found Dead Off Of I-495 In MD: State Police
The body of a 36-year-old woman from Virginia was found along a roadway in Montgomery County, Maryland on Thursday night, police say.
ROCKVILLE, MD — A 36-year-old McLean woman was declared deceased after her body was found off of a roadway in Montgomery County, Maryland Thursday night, according to authorities.
Maryland State Troopers from the Rockville Barrack responded around 10:20 p.m. to the outer loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 prior to the American Legion Bridge for a welfare check, according to the incident report.
The troopers located an unattended silver Toyota 4Runner on the right shoulder of the highway. A short time later, they found a woman, later identified as Madina Rhine of McLean, Virginia, lying unresponsive under I-495 along MacArthur Boulevard, according to police.

After Emergency Medical Personnel from Montgomery County pronounced Rhine deceased, they transported her body to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, according to MSP. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of her death.
Investigators from MSP's Criminal Enforcement Division responded to the scene along with crime scene technicians from the Forensic Sciences Division to process the scene for evidence, according to police. Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department also provided assistance.
