The tournament features 20 teams in two regions, one making up U.S. teams and the other an international bracket with teams competing in the Asia-Pacific, Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Cuba, Europe-Africa, Japan, Latin America, Mexico and Panama regions.

Making it to the tournament, now in its 76th year, represents the pinnacle of success for Little League teams across the country. The Little League World Series has been an iconic part of the lore of the United States’ national pastime since its inception and is a staple on ESPN networks every summer.

ESPN said earlier this year it planned to broadcast all Little League Region and World Series baseball tournament games.
