Missing Bethesda Girl May Be Traveling To New York City: Police
Nyomi Cooper, 16, was last seen at about 9 a.m. Monday when she left her home in the 6800 block of Fairfax Rd., police said.

BETHESDA, MD — Police are asking the public for help in locating a missing 16-year-old Bethesda girl.
Nyomi Cooper was last seen at about 9 a.m. Monday when she left her home in the 6800 block of Fairfax Rd., police said. Family members have been unable to contact her since that time. They believe she may be trying to travel to the New York City area.
Police describe Cooper as a black female, about 5’05” tall and weighs around 118 pounds. She has medium length black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black, waist-length jacket, blue jeans, and UGG boots.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Cooper is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigation Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
