Mussel Bar & Grille Reopens In Downtown Bethesda
Mussel Bar & Grille reopened Wednesday at a new downtown Bethesda location, 2.5 years after the first version closed.
BETHESDA, MD — Mussel Bar & Grille reopened Wednesday at a new downtown Bethesda location, about 2.5 years after the first version closed.
The new venue opened at 4903 Cordell Ave. Its original location opened in 2010 at 7262 Woodmont Ave. and closed in April 2022, MoCo 360 reported.

- Sunday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday-Saturday, 11:30.a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
“We were always going to come back,” RW Restaurant Group CEO and Executive Chef Robert Wiedmaier told MoCo360. “The Mussel Bar & Grille in Bethesda became a very sought-after place and a community type of restaurant. All those high school kids would work there. It was just a fun place for the community to enjoy.”
There is also a Mussel Bar & Grille at 800 N. Glebe Road in Arlington, Virginia.

And the company operates Keystone Korner in Baltimore.
The management team includes proprietor - Chef Robert Wiedmaier; Corporate Chef - Brian McBride; and General Manager - Marc Hayes.
