New Bethesda Parking Garage Free ... for Now
Take advantage of parking in the new 1,250-space garage at the intersection of Woodmont and Bethesda Avenues.

Capital Crescent Garage is the latest to open in Bethesda, and it is free to the public for now.
The garage, located at the intersection of Woodmont and Bethesda Avenues, is part of a public-private, mixed use development that added 250 residential units, ground level retail and more than triple the amount of public parking spaces available on site, according to Montgomery Community Media.
“This mixed use partnership project will contribute to the economic growth of the county and provide parking in an area that is an extremely popular Bethesda destination,” Montgomery County Executive Isiah “Ike” Leggett said. “For those who choose to drive to this area, we encourage them to try the new garage at no charge for the first few weeks.”

The new underground garage has about 960 public spaces and 290 private parking spaces for tenants.
The garage uses a parking availability system that wirelessly tracks the number of available parking spaces on each level, according to Bethesda Now. The information is displayed outside every entrance and on each floor.
