No New COVID Deaths Reported In Montgomery County In Four Days
Montgomery County has not seen a new death related to COVID-19 in four days, according to public health data released Monday.

BETHESDA, MD — Montgomery County has not reported any new deaths linked to COVID-19 in four days, according to data released Monday by health officials.
The local death toll, which hasn't changed since Oct. 15, stands at 820. The last time the county has gone four days without a coronavirus-related fatality was between Aug. 31 and Sept. 4.
Montgomery County — Maryland's most populous jurisdiction — continues to have the highest number of deaths in the state. It also has the second highest number of confirmed cases, after Prince George's County, which has 31,497, according to the latest figures.

On Monday, Montgomery County recorded 71 new COVID-19 cases. That pushes the local total to 24,466.
Across Maryland, there have been 136,154 cases, 3,895 confirmed deaths, and 146 "probable deaths." Of the 434 people that are currently hospitalized, 116 are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
