Police Identify Victim Found Dead In White Flint Plaza Parking Lot

NORTH BETHESDA, MD — Police have identified the man who was found dead inside a car in the White Flint Plaza shopping center Monday.

The victim was identified as Joseph Sylvester Ndyamukama, 51, of an unconfirmed address. Investigators have been unable to locate Ndyamukama’s family and are asking for the public’s assistance in finding them.

Authorities responded to White Flint Plaza on Nicholson Lane at about 2 p.m. Monday for the report of a deceased person inside of a car, police said. Officers located Ndyamukama in the rear seat area of the car, parked near the Shoppers grocery store.

Ndyamukama’s autopsy results are pending. A further update will be provided once the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined the manner and cause of death.
