Man On Scooter Wanted For Series Of Gropings In Bethesda; More Victims Possible: Police
A man is suspected of groping women in the area next to the Trolley Trail between Edson Lane and Tuckerman Lane in Bethesda, police said.

BETHESDA, MD — Montgomery County police released a video of a man who is suspected of groping women in the neighborhood next to the Trolley Trail between Edson Lane and Tuckerman Lane in Bethesda.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, a female was walking on Nicholson Lane near the Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center when she was approached by the suspect who was riding an electric scooter, police said Friday. The suspect knocked her to the ground and groped her before she was able to escape and call police.
On Tuesday, May 23, two females were walking along the Trolley Trail when they were approached by the same suspect who was riding an electric scooter, according to police. The suspect followed them and touched them inappropriately, police said. One of the females then took a video of the suspect as he was leaving the scene.

The suspect is described as an adult male, possibly Asian or white, with a medium build, about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, in his 20s or 30s, short black hair, riding an electric black/gray scooter and wearing black-rimmed glasses, a light gray hooded sweatshirt with a multicolor rainbow design on the back, black pants and black/red/white shoes, police said.
Police said Friday that they believe there may be additional victims of inappropriate touching by this man who have not contacted police.
