Pre-Leasing Kicks Off At High-Rise Apartment Community In Bethesda
A permanent leasing office is now open at The Camille, a more than 150,000-square-foot boutique-style apartment community in Bethesda.

BETHESDA, MD — A permanent leasing office is now open at The Camille, a more than 150,000-square-foot boutique-style apartment community in downtown Bethesda.
Construction on The Camille, a 181-unit community, is now in the final stages, with the first residents scheduled to begin moving in by the end of November, according to Simpson Housing and Woodfield Development.
The Camille's design and was laid out with remote work in mind, given the large number of residents in the Washington, D.C. area who work from home full- or part-time. The units will feature luxury, vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, Quartz countertops, modern bathrooms with soaking bathtubs, and custom bedroom closets.

The project is a joint venture between Simpson and Woodfield, which has developed 3,170 units in 11 communities in the D.C. area.
Studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments are now available. Interested residents can visit the leasing office located at 7000 Wisconsin Avenue to get more information and sign a lease. The leasing office is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday from noon and 5 p.m.

The Camille will feature a mix of floorplans: 13 percent studio, 43 percent one-bedroom and 45-percent two-bedroom apartments, ranging in average size from 633 square feet to 1,089 square feet. The Camille will offer 18 percent of its units at an affordable rate.
On the street level of the 14-story high-rise will be nearly 6,000 square feet of retail.
“This project presented a rare infill development opportunity in one of Montgomery County’s most vibrant retail corridors,” Venita DeHaven, president of Simpson Property Group at Simpson Housing, said in a statement.
The project will include a 122-space, controlled-access parking garage; a fully equipped fitness center with a separate functional fitness studio; a rooftop Sky Lounge with an entertainment kitchen, billiards and fireplace; an outdoor terrace with grills, games and seating; a luxurious pet spa; a bike storage and repair station; a concierge; and a business lounge with private workspaces.
“The Camille is poised to meet the needs of today’s multifamily renter with modern units, access to private and semi-private workspaces and a focus on environmentally friendly initiatives,” said Todd Jacobus, a founding partner at Woodfield.
