Rails Brings Effortless Clothing Style To MD In State's First Store
Rails, the Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand with storefronts in the U.S. and Europe, has opened its first Maryland location in Bethesda.

BETHESDA, MD — Rails, the Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand known for its Southern California-inspired collections, has opened its first Maryland location at 4852 Bethesda Ave. in Bethesda.
Known for its women’s and men’s collections of reimagined wardrobe essentials, Rails is known for a signature hand-feel and luxurious in-house developed fabrics, according to a news release. The 3,128-square-foot Bethesda store features the brand’s coastal heritage with neutral tones, wood accents, and airy design elements.
Rails offers shoppers heritage shirting, functional outerwear, versatile dresses, premium denim, and more, crafted with an attention to comfort and quality.

“We’re excited to open our first store in Maryland to connect directly with both long-time fans and new customers,” said Jeff Abrams, founder and creative director of Rails, in a statement. “This store offers a space where people can fully experience our brand and the fabrics that set Rails apart.”

Rails has a network of 1,200 retail partners across more than 30 countries. Following recent store openings in Atlanta, Scottsdale, and Chicago’s Armitage District, the Bethesda location is part of a retail expansion, with new stores coming soon to Nashville, Chicago’s Rush Street, and a store in Nolita dedicated exclusively to the brand’s men’s collection.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
