Sarah's Handmade Ice Cream To Open Second Bethesda Location

BETHESDA, MD — Sarah's Handmade Ice Cream is gearing up for a second location in Bethesda.

Opening in late summer 2020, the sweet treats shop will be located in Wildwood Shopping Center on Old Georgetown Road.

The 1,100-square-foot store will serves up small batch, locally sourced ice cream made with all-natural ingredients. A rotating menu will feature classic fan-favorites such as Simply Vanilla and Mint Chocolate Chip, as well as unique flavors including Cherry Blossom Festival, Lavender Honey, and Chunky Cookies n' Dough.

"Our handmade ice cream brings people together and we want our shops to be community gathering places," said Sarah's founder, Sarah Park. "We have loved the community we built on River Road in Bethesda, and we are excited to expand to Wildwood."

The store hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, plastic shields will be in place to protect both employees and customers.
