Search For Man Who Attempted To Sexually Assault Woman: Police
Police say a woman was sexually assaulted Monday night near a Bethesda overpass. A reward is being offered for info leading to an arrest.
BETHESDA, MD — Montgomery County police are searching for an attacker they say sexually assaulted a woman Monday night in Bethesda.
The incident reportedly occurred around 7:40 p.m., near the pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Capital Beltway that connects Fleming Avenue and Montgomery Road. The woman told police that she was tackled by a male jogger, who attempted to sexually assault her.
Authorities said the suspect ran away as she called 911.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call police at 240-773-5400. Anonymous tipsters can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online. Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
