Sports & Social Bethesda Showing Women's World Cup Games On Big Screen
Sports & Social Bethesda will show the U.S. women's games at the Women's World Cup Soccer Championship on its giant 18-foot LED screen.
NORTH BETHESDA, MD — Sports & Social Bethesda will be showing the U.S. women's games at the Women’s World Cup Soccer Championship on its big screen starting Friday, July 21.
The U.S. team’s opening game against Vietnam on Friday and its second game against the Netherlands on Wednesday, July 26 will both be shown on Sports & Social Bethesda’s giant 18-foot LED screen starting at 9 p.m. each day.
“We are ready to cheer on our home team as they kick off their quest for another world championship,” said Bryan Harris, general manager, Sports & Social Bethesda. “Sports & Social will always have the U.S. team on our big screen when they are playing live so fans can watch the excitement from any seat in the house.”

Along with showing the U.S. team's games on the big screen, Sports & Social will be showing all World Cup games that air during hours of operation.
Over the next four weeks, 32 teams, including the U.S. women's team, will compete across 64 matches at 10 venues across Australia and New Zealand.

Located at 11580 Old Georgetown Road in the Pike & Rose dining and shopping area of North Bethesda, Sports & Social serves nachos and wings, salads, sandwiches, curated cocktails and specialty drinks, and a beer selection that includes local favorites from Flying Dog Brewery, Silver Branch Brewing Company, Denizens Brewing Co., and 7 Locks Brewing.
The nearly 8,000-square-foot space is outfitted with state-of-the-art AV technology. The 18-foot LED display serves as its centerpiece.
Guests can also enjoy a wide variety of social games, including skee-ball, foosball, pop-a-shot, arcade games and Beirut. The Bethesda location’s dog-friendly outdoor patio features Sports & Social’s Crush Bar, offering a large selection of specialty crush drinks.
Sports & Social Bethesda is open Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to midnight, Fridays from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to midnight.
