Squishable To Open Stuffed Animal Store At Westfield Montgomery

BETHESDA, MD — A Squishable seasonal shop is coming to Westfield Montgomery for the holiday season, with hundreds of varieties of stuffed animals for sale.

The store, located on Level 1 of the mall next to Bath & Body Works, will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Headquartered in New York City, Squishable was founded in 2007. The store sells hundreds of varieties of stuffed animals that are “cute giant balls of squishy love that are soft, huggable, cuddly, and all-around awesome,” according to its website.

The store has specialty lines, including squishables that resemble food, disguised "undercover" squishables, and mystery squishables, Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported.

Other holiday festivities hosted by Westfield Montgomery include the Jingle Lounge, located on the lower level next to Lego, which will be open through Christmas Eve.

"Enjoy beautiful seating and decor, pizza delivery, cocktails, crafts and more!" Westfield Montgomery said. "While relaxing, scan the QR code on one of our tables and order Frank Pepe's, delivered right to your table!"

Santa is also at Westfield Montgomery through Christmas Eve, where children and the family pet can get their picture taken with the jolly man himself.

Westfield Montgomery is located at 7101 Democracy Blvd. in Bethesda.
