In their investigation, Montgomery County police detectives determined that Jones arrived at the Apple Store in a gold Cadillac and entered the store, according to police.

After having a brief conversation with an employee about purchasing some electronic merchandise, Jones held up a semiautomatic handgun with a gold slide and an extended magazine and demanded the items, according to police. The employee handed over the merchandise to Jones, who then left the store and drove away in the Cadillac, police said.
