Taste Of Bethesda Returns: Restaurant, Entertainment Lineup

BETHESDA, MD — More than 40 restaurants will take part in the food and music festival, Taste of Bethesda, when it returns Saturday, Oct. 5. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Woodmont Triangle.

Organized by Bethesda Urban Partnership, the food and music festival is celebrating its 32nd year, and will showcase the culinary diversity of the downtown community, organizers said. (See list of participating restaurants below.)

Jeff Burton, the executive director of Bethesda Urban Partnership, said, "We’re thrilled to welcome the community to another year of Taste of Bethesda. With over 40 participating restaurants and live entertainment, this event offers a unique opportunity to discover new dishes while supporting our local dining scene.

Taste of Bethesda is held on Norfolk, St. Elmo, Cordell, and Del Ray Avenues. The festival will feature four stages of live musical performances and a dedicated children’s area with engaging arts and crafts.

This year's festival introduces a lineup of newcomers to the event, including ala, Cubano’s, Pho Viet USA, Q by Peter Chang, an Rooted3.

Returning favorites like Benihana, Dog Haus Biergarten, Fresh Baguette, Georgetown Cupcake, Medium Rare, Seventh State and Spanish Diner will serve their signature offerings.

In addition, guests can enjoy a selection of beer and wine from participating restaurants.

Admission to Taste of Bethesda is free, with food, beer, and wine tickets available for purchase on-site. Tickets are sold in bundles of five tickets for $10, with tastes ranging from one to four tickets, allowing guests to sample a variety of dishes.

The event is located three blocks from the Bethesda Metro station, with parking available in downtown Bethesda's public garages. Visitors can also use the free Bethesda Circulator for transportation between the Metro station and public garages.
