A truck hauling cheese balls overturned on the Capital Beltway in Bethesda Monday afternoon, blocking several lanes of traffic.
BETHESDA, MD — A tractor-trailer hauling cheese balls overturned on the Capital Beltway in Bethesda Monday afternoon, blocking several lanes of traffic.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. on the Outer Loop of the Beltway, prior to Exit 36, said Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer. No injuries were reported.
Crews were called to clean up a small fuel spill. The lanes were cleared several hours later, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
