Upper Muse Courtyard For Dining, Working Coming To Pike & Rose In 2024

The new 5,000-square-foot courtyard, called Upper Muse, will feature seating with tables and chairs for people to gather at Pike & Rose.

NORTH BETHESDA, MD — A new courtyard is coming to the front of the entrance to the 915 Meeting Street office building in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose area.

The new 5,000-square-foot courtyard, called Upper Muse, will serve as a place for people to gather. It will feature seating with tables and chairs to dine or work and will be surrounded by native landscaping, as well as lighting, according to Federal Realty Investment Trust, the property’s owner.

The courtyard will connect people through an archway from 915 Meeting Street to the Owen’s Ordinary and Kusshi Sushi patio, located across Trade Street.

“Upper Muse is our newest enhancement to enrich the vibrant Pike & Rose neighborhood,” said Jay Brinson, vice president of development for Federal Realty. “We want to provide our patrons with another experience that further illustrates Pike & Rose as a destination for the North Bethesda community to gather, shop and dine.”

Construction on Upper Muse is scheduled to begin in January 2024 and will be complete in May 2024, according to Federal Realty.

Federal Realty announced plans for Upper Muse on Tuesday, following the official opening of the 915 Meeting Street building and the news that a new steakhouse by the owners of CAVA, Bouboulina, will be opening in the building’s street level in summer 2024.
