Uptown Deli Marks Grand Opening Ceremony
Bethesda's first Jewish deli holds a salami-slicing ceremony; draws local officials.
Though -- Bethesda's first Jewish deli -- opened its doors on Norfolk Avenue, the foodie hotspot made its opening official March 24 with a ribbon cutting and salami slicing ceremony.
The event drew local officials including County Councilman Roger Berliner (D-Dist. 1) and County Executive Isiah Leggett. The ceremony also officially introduced Uptown's new dinner menu.
Uptown isn't the only Jewish deli in town these days -- another Jewish deli, recently around the corner.
