Little has been charged with the murder of his boss, hospital maintenance engineer Roosevelt Brockington, Jr. Brockington was found in the hospital’s basement broiler room Jan. 1, with a knife protruding from his neck, prosecutors have said.

Montgomery County police and prosecutors have said that Little, who worked at Suburban under Brockington’s supervision, had been recently reprimanded by Brockingon and denied a pay raise, a possible motive for the murder.

Little didn’t appear in court. He was represented by a public defender.

A motions hearing is set for June 9th, during which Little’s defense will argue to suppress certain evidence against Little, Simms said. It wasn’t known what evidence the defense would seek to suppress.
