Where To See Santa Around Bethesda This Christmas Season

BETHESDA, MD — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Bethesda families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Bethesda, kids have several chances:

• Winter Wonderland Festival: Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., celebrate the holiday season on Norfolk and Cordell Avenues in downtown Bethesda with Santa Claus, live ice sculpting, live music, face painting, games and more! Please bring a new toy for Toys for Tots.
• Photos with Santa at Westfield Montgomery: Through Dec. 24, get your photo taken with Santa at Westfield Montgomery, lower level near Macy's, 7101 Democracy Blvd, Bethesda, MD.
• The Annual Jingle Jubilee at Chevy Chase Lake: Chevy Chase Lake is hosting its annual holiday celebration, Jingle Jubilee Holiday Celebration, featuring free photos with Santa inside The Barrett Lobby, a community tree lighting, festive activities, and special giveaways. The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Winter Wonderland for the Holidays: Celebrate the holiday season at Westfield Wheaton Mall for an event featuring Santa, live musical performances, pet photo parties and other festive family fun all month long. Saturday, Dec. 2 from noon to 5 p.m.
