Just How Bad Is Interstate Congestion in Maryland?
Maryland’s interstate highways are clogged, and most residents in the state are trapped on those busy roads every day, giving us the dubious honor of second-most congested interstates in the country.
The new report by TRIP, a Washington, DC-based national transportation organization, says 75 percent of Maryland’s urban Interstate highways are congested during peak hours, the second-highest rate in the nation. >>> Read more.

Sparkler Blows Up, Burns User's Eyes: Report
A man suffered injuries to both eyes Monday night when a sparkler apparently blew up on a pier, emergency officials said.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department's Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit is investigating the mishap that injured a 19-year-old man after they were notified that the emergency department at Baltimore Washington Medical Center was treating someone injured by fireworks. >>> Read more.
