1 Killed, Another Injured In Prince George's County Crash
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, Shanya Hoover, 20, of Suitland died in the crash.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Detectives with the Prince George's County Police Department are investigating a crash that injured one and claimed the life of another early Thursday morning.
Police said Shanya Hoover, 20, of Suitland died in the crash.
According to the police department, around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the 3500 block of Regency Parkway in Suitland for a two-vehicle collision.

Police said Hoover was traveling northbound in a car on Regency Parkway when, for reasons that remain under investigation, her car crossed the double yellow line and then struck a car traveling southbound on Regency Parkway. Hoover was pronounced dead on the scene.
The other driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, WJLA-TV reported.
