$184K Fast Play Winner Encouraged To Claim Jackpot

A Laurel resident who bought a Fast Play Grand Progressive ticket last month at a local gas station is encouraged to claim their winnings.

LAUREL, MD — Maryland Lottery officials are looking for a Laurel resident who won $184,769 in the Aug. 8 progressive jackpot of the Fast Play game.

The winning ticket was sold at the Exxon gas station at 801 Washington Boulevard in Laurel, which receives a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The lottery encourages the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The player has 182 days (six months) to claim the prize.

The Fast Play Grand Progressive game went on sale in April 2024 with 28 progressive jackpot prizes that start at $100,000 and increase each time a ticket is sold. The ticket sold Aug. 8 in Laurel is the fourth of those to be won. The other three — sold in Severna Park ($134,985) on April 13 of this year, Feb. 27 of this year in Laurel ($296,551) and June 3 of 2024 in LaPlata ($190,383) – have all been claimed.
