19-Year-Old Passenger Killed After Vehicle Crashes Into Utility Pole In Clinton

A 19-year-old has died after the vehicle she was riding in crashed into a utility pole in Clinton, according to Prince George's Police.

CLINTON, MD — A 19-year-old has died after police say the driver of a car she was riding in lost control and hit a utility pole.

On Aug. 6 around 10:45 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 11100 block of Tippett Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash. They found Adrianna Alicka of Hughesville dead at the scene. The driver wasn't injured, according to police. A second passenger was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The preliminary investigation indicates the driver was heading southbound on Tippett Road when for reasons still being investigated, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a utility pole.
