2 Teen Boys Arrested In Shopping Center Shooting

Greenbelt Police have arrested two teenage boys in connection to the Oct. 25 shooting that happened at the Greenway Shopping Center.

GREENBELT, MD — Police have arrested two teenage boys in connection to the Oct. 28 shooting that happened at the Greenway Shopping Center.

No one was injured during the Oct. 28 shooting, according to Greenbelt Police.

Law enforcement found the first teen suspect Wednesday morning in the 8200 block of Canning Terrace. Detectives and the Greenbelt Police Emergency Response Team had executed a search warrant for the teen's arrest and collected additional evidence related to the case at the home.

The teen was taken to the Upper Marlboro Department of Corrections.

A second teen was arrested later in the day and also had an outstanding warrant for armed robbery from Oct. 4. He has been charged as an adult with multiple offenses.
