$25K Reward Offered For Tips In Fatal Shooting Of 20-Year-Old In Takoma Park

Prince George's Police is offering a $25K reward for information in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old Beltsville man in Takoma Park.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened last week in Takoma Park. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.

On Aug. 17 at approximately 12:25 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers found 20-year-old Victor Bastardo Reyes of Beltsville in the road near the shooting scene with gunshot wound(s). He died a short time later at the hospital, according to police.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
