6 Prince George's Restaurants Participating In DC's Summer Restaurant Week
These Prince George's County eateries are participating in Summer Restaurant Week with a wide selection of meals and deals.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Several eateries from Prince George's are participating in Summer Restaurant Week, which is presented by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington from Aug. 18-24.
Restaurant Week offers diners a chance to try multi-course, specially priced menus at some of the area’s most renowned restaurants. According to the event's website, participating restaurants will offer brunch for $25 or $35, three-course lunch menus for $25 or $35, and dinners for $40, $55 and $65. Many participating restaurants will also offer cocktail and wine pairings to enhance the meals. Some establishments may feature special to-go menus and family-style offerings.
There also will be live jazz performances during Summer Restaurant Week and the chance for patrons to enter and win Event DC's Ultimate Jazz Experience package, which includes two DC Jazz Festival tickets, dinner for two at a participating restaurant of the winner's choice and two-night hotel accommodations at the Wharf.

Pennyroyal Station in Mount Rainier - The RAMW 2023 Casual Restaurant of the Year winner, Pennyroyal Station opened in December 2020. The community gathering place, housed in the 1900s-era First National Bank of Maryland building, serves comfort food created by Chef Jesse Miller.

Era Wine Bar in Mount Rainier - Era Wine Bar is a sommelier-owned, world fusion wine bar and kitchen serving plates and pours from around the world. Located in the historic Singer Building of Mount Rainier, just seconds from the Washington, D.C., border, Era is a two-time RAMMYs finalist for "Wine Program of the Year" and an OpenTable "Diner's Choice" award winner since opening in 2021. As one of Eater DC's "Essential Wine Bars" of the DC area, Era Wine Bar features more than 25 wines by the glass, splurge-worthy Coravin pours, and bottles from award-winning producers worldwide. There's also a boutique wine shop with wines to-go, private event space and monthly events featuring winemakers and wine-focused education. Milk & Honey in Bowie, Camp Springs, College Park and Lanham - Milk & Honey Café is a New Orleans themed southern brunch that features award winning shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, rum chata French toast and specializes in other slow cooked mouth-watering favorites. Organizers said spots fill up quickly and diners should make reservations as soon as possible, especially if a diner has a specific restaurant or time in mind. The special menu price typically does not include beverages, tax, or gratuity.
Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington hosts two restaurant weeks each year, one in the summer and the other in the winter, to highlight the diverse selection of dining options available in the DMV.
