Another Plane Crashes In Prince George's County: Report
It's the third plane crash in the last week in the Prince George's County area.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — For the third time in the span of a week, a small plane has crashed in or near Prince George's County, according to a report.
WUSA 9's Pete Muntean tweeted at 1:19 p.m. on Thursday that a Piper Archer aircraft had gone off the end of the runway and into the fence at College Park Airport.
A photo accompanying the tweet shows that the aircraft -- which appears to be intact -- had veered to the left and into a hedge around the end of the runway. There is currently no word on injuries.

On Tuesday, a small plane crashed into the woods just outside of Laurel. Two men in the plane -- a Socata Tampico -- were uninjured. They had to be pulled from the plane as it was sitting 50 feet off the ground in the trees.
Last Thursday, two people in a car were hospitalized after a small plane crashed into them on eastbound Route 50 near Freeway Airport in Bowie. The people in the plane were treated at the scene. The crash shutdown lanes of Route 50 in both directions, causing major delays.
