Bowie Business Store Hours Thanksgiving 2014

Enjoy your turkey and remember that many services will not be available Nov. 27.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we can basically smell the buttery mashed potatoes and hot turkey carvings. Along with all of the good eats on the way are multiple businesses in Bowie that will not be operating on the holiday.

Plan accordingly as many services will be on a hiatus for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014.

These Bowie businesses will be on the following Thanksgiving schedules:

  • ALDI, 6810 Race Track Road, CLOSED
  • BJ’s, 16520 Ballpark Road, CLOSED
  • Bowie Town Center, 15606 Emerald Way, OPEN 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Crescent Beer & Wine, 15222 Old Chapel Road, OPEN 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Five Below, 3855 Evergreen Parkway, CLOSED
  • Pier 1 Imports, 4410 Mitchellville Road, CLOSED
  • Walgreens, 15990 Annapolis Road, OPEN 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The following will not be open on Nov. 27 and 28:

  • All Prince George’s County government offices
  • Para-transit services
  • Call-A-Bus
  • Prince George’s County Click 3-1-1
  • TheBus public transit service (will run Nov. 28 except Route 51)
  • Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement

The following Department of the Environment facilities and services will be closed just on Thanksgiving Day:

  • Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill
  • Brown Station Road Public Convenience Center
  • Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site
  • Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site
  • Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance and Recycling Center
  • Prince George’s County Yard Waste Composting Facility
  • Trash Collection in County - Contracted Areas
  • Bulky Trash Collection (also closed Nov. 28)
  • Curbside Recycling Collection

The facilities will resume operation Friday unless otherwise stated.
