$50K Winning Powerball Ticket Bought In Bowie
Four $50K winning Powerball tickets were bought in Maryland Saturday, including one at a 7-Eleven in Bowie.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Four players in Maryland were off by just one number in the Powerball drawing for the billion dollar jackpot, including an unclaimed ticket bought in Bowie.
According to the Maryland Lottery, the four $50,000 winning tickets were bought in Bowie, Gwynn Oak, Hagerstown and Stevensville. They were among the 26 Maryland Lottery players who nabbed $10,000 or more in the past week. The winning ticket bought in Bowie was purchased at the 7-Eleven, 6860 Racetrack Road.
Monday night's drawing has an estimated annuity value of $1.6 billion with an estimated one-time payment option of $735.3 million.

Winners are encouraged to sign the backs of tickets and keep winning tickets in a safe location. Tickets for draw games expire 182 days after the drawing date. Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at the cashier window of any of the six casinos in Maryland. Prizes up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets worth up to and including $600.
