Capitol Heights Man Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Washington, D.C., Man

A 60-year-old Capitol Heights man has been charged in connection to the shooting death of a 24-year-old Washington, D.C., man.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A 60-year-old Capitol Heights man has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of a Washington, D.C., man.

On March 23 at approximately 1:40 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 1200 block of Boones Hill Road for a report of a dead man. Officers found 24-year-old Isiah Hunter with gunshot wounds in a wooded area. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police department.

Preliminarily, detectives believe Michael Holly shot Hunter during an argument and they knew each other. Holly has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status, the police department reported.
