Darnall’s Chance House Museum Presents Halloween Fun

Prince George's County announces Halloween activities for both families and adults.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Who says Halloween is just for kids? Darnall’s Chance House Museum (14800 Governor Oden Bowie Dr., Upper Marlboro MD 20772) is offering some spooky and spirited fun for the entire family this Halloween season.

If roasting marshmallows and sipping cider around a campfire sounds like a perfect fall night for your family, we have the event for you. Not only can kids listen to haunted Halloween tales, they also have a chance to win a prize after hunting for glowing jack o’ lanterns. The rain date for this activity is Sunday, October 23 at 6 PM.

Residents 21 and up can enjoy a Halloween-themed buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres, seasonal brews, and spiced cider. Entertainment is also provided. Reservations and payment are required in advance.
Opened to the public as a historic house museum in 1988, the Department of Parks and Recreation’s, Darnall’s Chance House Museum is dedicated to the interpretation and study of the history and culture of 18th century Prince George's County, Maryland, with special emphasis on the lives of mid-18th-century women.
